About us
We're here to keep the competition calendar accurate and up to date
CompeteRadar is a free tracker that brings tech and innovation competitions in Türkiye and around the world together in one place.
Why CompeteRadar?
Announcements for hackathons, ideathons and datathons are scattered across companies' career pages, the social media accounts of university clubs, the websites of municipalities and foundations, and global competition platforms. Because of this, many students and young professionals only notice a competition that interests them after the application deadline has passed.
CompeteRadar was founded to solve this problem: we present current competitions in a single list, sorted by application deadline and easy to filter. With our guides, we also aim to help you get off to a stronger start while you prepare.
Every competition in one list
We bring together hackathons, ideathons, creathons and datathons scattered across organizations' websites, university announcements and global platforms.
AI-powered scanning
An AI model searches the web for current announcements, verifies dates on official pages and converts the details into a standard format.
A calendar that updates itself
Competitions whose deadline has passed move to the archive automatically; those about to close are flagged with a "Last days" badge.
How do we collect the data?
Competition details are compiled from publicly available web sources. The "Scan for New Competitions" feature relies on an AI model that searches the web for competition announcements, opens official pages to verify the competition's year and application deadline, and converts the results into a standard format with title, organizer, date, location and prize fields. Duplicate records for the same competition are merged automatically.
Information compiled with AI can sometimes contain errors. That's why every record links to the official source, and we act on reports of incorrect information.
Our editorial principles
Accuracy and sourcing
Every competition record links to the official application or announcement page. We try to verify dates and prizes against the official source, but we still recommend checking the official page before you apply.
Independence
CompeteRadar is not affiliated with the organizations it lists. A competition appearing on the list does not mean we endorse that event.
Separating ads from content
Ad slots on the site are clearly labeled "Advertisement" and do not affect the competition ranking or content. The list is sorted by application deadline only.
Corrections policy
If you notice incorrect or missing information, let us know; we'll check it and update it as soon as possible.
About the founder
Umutcan Çetinkaya
Founder · Artificial Intelligence Engineering student, Bahçeşehir University
Hi, I'm Umutcan Çetinkaya, a second-year Artificial Intelligence Engineering student at Bahçeşehir University. Competitions like hackathons, ideathons and datathons are among the most effective ways to test what we learn on real problems, gain teamwork experience and meet people from the industry.
But announcements for these competitions are scattered across organizations' websites, the social media accounts of university clubs and companies, and many different platforms. Following them all, hearing about competitions in time and not missing application deadlines is hard. I built CompeteRadar as a solution to this problem.
My goal is to bring most current competitions together in one place, sorted by application deadline, so you can easily find the ones that suit you, apply on time and keep track of the process. I'd be glad to hear your suggestions and feedback about the site.
